Hello!

My name is Robin Murphy and I currently teach K-12 Art at a wonderful little Christian school in upstate NY. I'm still relatively new to teaching, but I've already learned so much along the way that I decided it was time to start organizing and sharing some of my resources.

I've wanted to be an Art teacher since sometime in my junior year of high school. It just one day occurred to me that Art ed was the perfect field for me and I worked really hard to make that a reality. I attended Messiah College (now Messiah University) and absolutely loved the friends and professors I got to meet and get to know during my time there. I graduated with a K-12 certification and quickly found a part time job at a tiny private school near my home town. The following year, I was able to combine that part time position with another part time position at my current school. I spent two years splitting my time until my dream full-time position opened up at my current school. I'm absolutely loving my job, my students, coworkers, and my school. It's sometimes hard to believe I'm living my dream.

Outside of work, I have a wonderful husband, my high school sweetheart who I've been married to since 2016. We also have a beautiful daughter who was born in April 2020. We are loving watching her grow up so fast!
